How to do it

Travel separately and meet somewhere nobody knows you. One of you is already sitting there.

Invent a name and a job each, and hold on to them. Ask about things you already know and take the answer as new.

Go home together and stay in it until the door is shut. Only there are you yourselves again.
Look after each other
Agree beforehand what happens if a third person joins the conversation: you move somewhere else. The act holds up between the two of you, not in front of strangers.
