Three rules and a name
A role with a clock time at each end and exactly three rules in between.
How to do it

Choose the form of address together — a name or a title you use only inside the frame — and say it out loud once while you still have your clothes on and can laugh at it. It is easier now than later.

Write down exactly three rules. Three is enough, and more cannot be remembered. Write down as well what the frame does not cover: work, children, illness, guests, and everything outside the house.

Say out loud when it starts and when it ends, with clock times. When it ends, that gets said using your ordinary names and with the light on.
The mistake that does damage here is a frame with no end — a role left hanging into Monday that nobody agreed to. The clock time is not decoration, and either of you can end the weekend with one word without explaining why.
